We are a group of parents and individuals living in Newton who are concerned about the harmful health effects on children caused by leaf blowers. The pages exist for educational purposes and members are encouraged to add pertinent information to share with others. The discussion board exists for discussing steps that can be taken to help minimize health effects so as to better protect our children and the vulnerable in our population.

We belong to an International Organization of EcoMoms, started by Kimberly Pinkson as a grassroots, global movement toward a sustainable future and helping to reduce the climate crisis. While the Easton EcoMom Alliance is part of an international community of EcoMoms, we are almost completely autonomous in how we hold our meetings, our topics, and our events. It is important to emphasize that this is our group! But we have the added bonus of support and resources from the national organization. …
